THE GOOD SAMARITAN
This is a project I had planned to 3D print on my CR-10s and then carve the handle out of wood. I loved the over the top design of samaritan, and the style of the props and costumes created for Del Toros "Hellboy". This design was modelled in fusion 360 and featured standard components which are missing from the 3D model itself.
SONIC SCREWDRIVER
This was a commission I made for a friend. It was modelled in Fusion 360 and was made to 3D print on a CR-10s. The body was modelled to allow LED lights to fit inside the body with a battery. The top transparent piece was moulded in silicone and then cast in GlassCast resin tinted blue.
THE GOLDEN COMPASS
I modelled this more as an exercise to practice using the software, as I didnt think that my 3D printer could handle the detail. At that time the only 3D printer I had was the CR-10s, but having recently bought an Elegoo Mars resin printer, which can handle printing much more detailed designs, I might try to print it out
AHSOKA LIGHTSABERS
WARHAMMER MINIATURE
Over the lockdown I began playing a tabletop game called Warhammer 40k. I became obsessed with the beautifully detailed models, which were also very expensive. So I decided it would be fun to try model some of their designs for myself and some friends to 3D print on the Elegoo Mars resin printer. The models were made to incorparate magnets so that different parts could be interchanged, this was a feature missing from the original models as they had to be glued together
STAR LORDS ELEMENT GUN
This was an early project that i worked on for a costume I was making to go to a local comic convention as Star lord. This was made to be printed in two halves which would then be moulded and slush cast in polyurathane resin, then filled with an expanding foam.
